Dale Call
Public Information Coordinator
As the El Dorado Correctional Facility Public Information Officer (PIO), Captain Dale R. Call oversees requests for information from government agencies, the media, and the public as it relates to the facility and the Kansas Department of Corrections. Working jointly with designated Central Office staff, the PIO is responsible for responding to these requests along with Freedom of Information inquiries that fall under the Kansas Open Records Act.
In accordance with Kansas Administrative Regulation 44-1-103; the facility works to educate the public on the consequences of felony conviction and incarceration through our support of public and educational tours. To contribute to the KDOC mission of providing public safety and to assist in crime prevention and reduction, EDCF conducts numerous civic, organizational, and school (high school and college) tours throughout the year.
