The El Dorado Correctional Facility Human Resource Department's four-member staff is responsible for coordinating correction officer applicants testing and interviewing; coordinating recruitment efforts; scheduling and organizing the promotional board process; maintaining and organizing position descriptions and organizational charts; administering payroll; providing oversight of employee benefits and retirement plans for staff; processing workers compensation cases; coordinating and conducting EEO investigations; organizing the employee recognition process; and processing and monitoring employee evaluations. The department is committed to supporting and assisting 427 full-time employees and more than 120.
