Warden Shannon Meyer
Shannon Meyer was appointed as warden of Topeka Correctional Facility in August 2016 by Secretary of Corrections Joe Norwood. Previously, Meyer served as deputy of warden of programs at Lansing Correctional Facility (LCF).
In 2002, Meyer began her career with the Kansas Department of Corrections (KDOC) at LCF as a corrections counselor I. Meyer also worked in LCF's reentry office and as an institutional parole officer. In 2011, Meyer moved to the KDOC's central office to serve as director of community corrections. She later returned to LCF to serve as the east unit administrator before assuming the deputy warden position.
