Director Named For KDOC Victim Services

Kansas Secretary of Corrections Ray Roberts has selected Libby Keogh to be the new Director of Victim Services for the Kansas Department of Corrections.

Director Named For KDOC Victim Services 

Kansas Secretary of Corrections Ray Roberts has selected Libby Keogh to be the Director of Victim Services for the Kansas Department of Corrections. Keogh joined the KDOC as a Corrections Counselor at the Lansing Correctional Facility in 2005, and was promoted to the position of victim services liaison at LCF in 2006. She also previously served as Parole Board Administrator. For the past three years, Keogh has served a Parole Officer in the Lawrence Parole Office. 

Keogh currently represents the KDOC on the Governor’s Domestic Violence Fatality Review Board, and has written articles for national corrections publications. She has a psychology degree from the University of Oklahoma and will officially begin her duties on Sunday, October 16, 2011. 

The KDOC Office of Victim Services serves as a liaison between victims and department staff, the Prisoner Review Board, and victim service providers, and is committed to giving crime victims a voice by providing information, services and support with compassion and respect.
