Two Vehicles of Interest in Ottawa County Jail Escape

The public is asked to be on the lookout for a gold 2002 Nissan Altima with a Kansas license plate of 649-CII and a tan 2005 Chevrolet Venture with the Kansas license plate of 854-DZQ.

There are two known vehicles of interest in connection with the escape of Kansas Department of Corrections’ inmates Santos Carrera-Morales, Eric James, and Drew Wade from the Ottawa County Jail earlier this morning. 

  • The first vehicle of interest is a 2002 Nissan Altima, gold in color, with a license plate of 649-CII.
  • The second vehicle of interest is a 2005 Chevrolet Venture, tan in color, with a license plate of 854-DZQ.

All escapees are considered armed and dangerous.  If anyone has information pertaining to the whereabouts of Santos Carrera-Morales, Eric James, and/or Drew Wade, please call 911, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-572-7463 or Ellsworth Correctional Facility at 785-472-5501.
