Council Of State Governments
The Council of State Governments has selected Kansas as one of two sites to develop and implement broad reentry services, programs, policies and practices, as a result of the work going on in Kansas, according to the various "best practices" and recommendations of CSG found in its report from the Reentry Policy Council

JEHT Foundation
The JEHT Foundation was established in April 2000. Its name stands for the core values that underlie the Foundation's mission: Justice, Equality, Human dignity and Tolerance. The Foundation's programs reflect these interests and values. The Foundation's programs work to: transform U.S. criminal justice policies and practices; expand the role of international justice and the rule of law both at home and abroad; make the electoral system in this country fairer, more effective and responsive to all Americans; and expand and strengthen the use of palliative care in a variety of health care settings in the U.S.
3R Committee
The Committee is charged by statute to study and make recommendations regarding the recodification of the criminal code, the identification of ways to rehabilitate offenders and to work with offenders on community-based supervision, and the identification of ways to restore the offender into society as a productive member.
Department of Justice - Serious and Violent Offender Reentry Initiative
The Serious and Violent Offender Reentry Initiative, the U.S. Department of Justice's (DOJ's) comprehensive effort that addresses both juvenile and adult populations of serious, high-risk offenders, is already active in many communities. CCDO strongly recommends sites consider dedicating a significant amount of their resources to implement a focused reentry effort; one site has committed all of its resources and is a special emphasis site on reentry.
National Institute of Corrections
The National Institute of Corrections (NIC) is an agency within the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons. The Institute is headed by a Director appointed by the U.S. Attorney General. A 16-member Advisory Board, also appointed by the Attorney General, was established by the enabling legislation (Public Law 93-415) to provide policy direction to the Institute.
Consensus Project
The Criminal Justice/Mental Health Consensus Project, coordinated by the Council of State Governments Justice Center, is an unprecedented, national effort to help local, state, and federal policymakers and criminal justice and mental health professionals improve the response to people with mental illnesses who come into contact with the criminal justice system.
Pew Charitable Trusts
The Pew Charitable Trusts serves the public interest by providing information, advancing policy solutions and supporting civic life. Based in Philadelphia, with an office in Washington, D.C., the Trusts will invest $248 million in fiscal year 2007 to provide organizations and citizens with fact-based research and practical solutions for challenging issues.
