YWCA Week Without Violence

Each year during the third week of October, Americans join with people in over 60 other countries around the world to mark the YWCA’s Week Without Violence, a week-long series of events promoting diverse approaches to creating a violence-free world.

This year’s Topeka YWCA Week Without Violence encourages individuals to BE THE ONE to end domestic and sexual violence.

Everyone can make a difference, by standing up, by speaking out, by teaching others or by being the one to comfort a loved one or to have a tough conversation with a friend.

For a listing of this year's week-long schedule of events beginning Sunday, October 14, 2012, please visit the YWCA website.
