Who Can Volunteer?
Volunteering for the Kansas Department of Corrections will help meet the needs of many individuals at various stages in their lives. The KDOC needs people who can be agents of change.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us to complete a volunteer application, security background check and volunteer agreement form;
- Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older;

No special experience or education is required unless you are going to deliver services requiring licensure (such as substance abuse treatment or family counseling);

Persons with felony convictions can be considered as volunteers at the discretion of the warden or parole/reentry director and provided they have completed supervision.
