Kansas Department of Corrections (KDOC) Secretary Jeff Zmuda announced today that Tim Easley has been selected to serve as the warden of Larned Correctional Mental Health Facility. Easley began his new role on March 1.

Topeka Correctional Facility Staff Member Dies from COVID-19 Complications

Kansas Department of Corrections (KDOC) Secretary Jeff Zmuda announced today that one staff member at the Topeka Correctional Facility (TCF) died on Saturday, July 25, due to complications from COVID-19. This is the third staff death related to the virus with the first two being at the Lansing Correctional Facility (LCF).

The Secretary of Corrections announced today that visitation will be suspended at all Kansas Department of Corrections (KDOC) facilities, effective immediately, as a measure of precaution to reduce exposure of COVID-19 to our residents and staff.
