Tommy Williams new warden for El Dorado Correctional Facility

Kansas Secretary of Corrections Jeff Zmuda announced Feb. 22, 2022 the selection of Tommy Williams as the new warden of El Dorado Correctional Facility (EDCF), El Dorado, KS. Williams began his new role as warden on February 20, having previously served as deputy warden for the facility since April 2021.

KDOC enrolls 325 residents in College

Classrooms are filling up at the eight Kansas Department of Corrections adult facilities. The department currently has 325 residents enrolled in college and career classes, including CTE (Career Technical Education) programs and associate and four-year degrees.
