Topeka Correctional Facility's annual plant sale starts May 6

Topeka Correctional Facility invites the public to attend its annual plant sale held on its front lawn at Rice Road and 10th Street May 6-19, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
The popular sale will feature annuals, perennials, herbs, grasses and vegetable plants cultivated by the residents of the all-female facility. Almost all plants are only $1 each. The sale also will have specialty plants and hanging baskets that will range from $2-$20.
Only cash and checks will be accepted. Proceeds benefit TCF self-help groups such as Pooches and Pals, the Running Free Running Club and Reaching Out from Within.
